The European Affairs Society is one of the oldest and largest student societies in Oxford, as can be seen from our roster of past and current speakers. From Gary Kasparov to Bonnie Greer, the Society have prided themselves in providing speakers with innovative and knowledgeable opinions on European current affairs and culture. Being a member gives you free entry to all our speaker events, as well as the opportunity to have dinner with our distinguished members prior to their speaking to the Society.

Members also get discounted entry into our social events, ranging from the termly Cocktails d’Or and The EAS Food Fest, to Salsa Nights and Poetry Evenings, not to mention a discount for our Annual Gala Ball. Apart from these, there are several events for which members can obtain tickets ahead of everyone else, such as our successful visit to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office last term.

A years’ membership costs £10, and life membership £20; please print and fill in the membership form, and pidge it, along with a cheque, to our Treasurer Ben Ellis, at St John’s College.
